DetailsStunning sunset over canal scenes is inspired by a local scene to Wendy. The original painting was created by Wendy during the first lockdown in 2020 of Droitwich canal by Salwarpe.
The original painting sold very quickly. So Wendy thought opening the print up would give collectors, new or old the opportunity to enjoy this scene in their homes too.
Sunsets are always evocative, especially over water. The bright orange, yellows and pinks draw the viewer through the painting and to the landscape round the bend of the canal. taking you on a relaxing evening journey.
This open edition print is available in A4
Wendy has chosen to have her prints produced on the highest quality archival soft white paper.
The reproduction is superb and mimics the matt finish you would see with an original pastel painting but with the fear of loosing any of the pastel pigment.
